AFRICAN EVE 
DESCRIPTION: The designs found on West African masks and textiles influence African Eve. It is interpreted primarily in the Diagonal Tent (Basketweave) stitch using silk/wool blends and cotton yarns of varying weights and textures. You will use several straight and cross stitches such as Gobelin, Scotch and Smryna, as well as the Diagonal Tent. The finished piece will fit a Sudbury wood serving tray or can become a lovely tasseled, tote insert, or may be framed.
