COLOR KALEIDOSCOPE
TWO-DAY WORKSHOP (OPTIONAL: ONE-DAY)
Description: Color Kaleidoscope is a new interpretation of the twelve point color wheel. It is a fun way to learn more about complementary color schemes. It also demonstrates the technique of using analogous colors to add more depth of color and texture to a design. Approximately 40-45 threads and beads are used, so most everyone is sure to enjoy the surprise of finding something new. There are four composite patterns used throughout the design with each being stitched four to six times in different colors and threads. Each successive color combo is as exciting to stitch as the first. To add that extra bit of texture and depth flat glass beads, large delicas and cubes are integrated into the stitch patterns to striking effect.
