imageswsDESCRIPTION: Images of India was inspired by the intricate and ornate patterns found in Indian textiles. The student will use a range of silks, metallics and cotton over-dyed flosses to develop the design.  Beginning with a small palette of stitches she will expand the use of each of these by altering each stitch's size, scale, color, and texture to create a striking and wonderfully textured piece suitable for framing or as a pillow or serving tray or tote insert.
