MOROCCAN SANDS

DESCRIPTION:  Moroccan Sands interprets centuries-old Islamic tile mosaic patterns in colors of the cool desert evening. You will use five different types of silk and silk/wool blends as well as metallics and pailletes in subtle shades of apricot, lavender blue, chai brown, and gold to create your richly textured design.  We will discuss both the creation of this design and methods you can use to create your own geometric designs.
