SWEET TREATS

A great guild project.  It allows each stitcher to supply her own threads and embellishments.  It could also be stitched as a "round-robin" project!

DESCRIPTION: Do you love petit fours and fancy chocolates?  Have fun with pastel and "candy" colors while combining ribbon flowers, embroidered trellises and traditional needlepoint stitches to create this small, treasure-filled design.  You will stitch with all manner of threads and silk ribbons to capture the look you want and there is room for experimentation if you so choose.  Your finished piece can be a box like the original or would be fun as an insert for a tea tray or tote.  i will include a list of suggested alternative threads and embellishments.

DESIGN SIZE: 5 1/4" square

GROUND FABRIC: 18 count while mono canvas
